Are mini cooper cars expensive to fix( are there parts expensive)?

I have a vw beetle and everytime something is wrong the dealership has to fix it which costs alot. also you have to have specific seat covers which cost like 300 dollars, i was wondering if the mini cooper was the same?

Mini is made by BMW. That means it's expensive. Any German import will be expensive to fix. Go with a Honda Civic.
